Nykole Gonzalez Psy.D.

Biography:
Nykole Gonzalez, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and partner at Northshore Psychological Associates, LLC, where she has been a member of the practice since 2019.
Dr. Gonzalez specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals experiencing cognitive, emotional, or behavioral changes related to various neurological conditions. As a Spanish-speaking professional, Dr. Gonzalez also has a strong interest in issues of diversity and multicultural competency, particularly in the evaluation of individuals for whom English is a second language.
In addition to her neuropsychological work, Dr. Gonzalez provides individual psychotherapy, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
Dr. Gonzalez also serves as the Director of Clinical Training for the practice’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, overseeing the supervision and professional development of early-career psychologists.
She is a current staff member at several local hospitals and rehabilitation facilities, including acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing settings.
Dr. Gonzalez earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. She holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from The American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Northern Virginia, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Central Florida.
