Biography:

Dr. Jenna Saran is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Erieite. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Hawaiʻi School of Professional Psychology at Chaminade University of Honolulu. She completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship with the Erie Psychological Consortium where she trained in outpatient private practice, community mental health, and inpatient rehabilitation settings. She has experience conducting neuropsychological and psychological evaluations and providing psychotherapy.

She completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Bridgepoint Psychology Center in Chicago, IL specializing in complex trauma and grief/loss. Before pursuing her doctorate, Dr. Saran earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Child Development and Family Relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, followed by a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Hawaiʻi School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Honolulu.

Throughout her career, she has worked with diverse populations across a wide range of settings. She is particularly interested in how brain functioning, medical history, and life experiences shape an individual’s cognitive, emotional, and psychological wellbeing. Dr. Saran appreciates the meeting space of psychotherapy as both an art and science. She has specialized training in various trauma and grief-focused modalities and oftentimes uses a relational approach to treatment.

Dr. Saran currently practices as an outpatient psychotherapist, conducts outpatient neuropsychological evaluations, and facilitates brief neuropsychological consultations within an inpatient setting. She strives to create an affirming, safe space where people can explore how their experiences, relationships, identities, and culture have shaped them. Her method emphasizes meeting people where they are, using a collaborative approach, honoring what makes people unique, and supporting them in discovering their own strengths amid adversity.

She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Dr. Saran remains committed to ongoing professional development and training.
