Biography:

 

Kristen received her undergraduate degree from Gannon University, having earned a bachelors of Art in Social Work. She earned her Masters of Science in Social Administration (MSSA) at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.  She has been practicing in the Erie area since 1998 and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2005.  She is also a certified clinical trauma Professional (CCTP).  

 

Kristen began her career doing in home therapy with parents who have mental illness, helping them to safely keep their children in the family home while addressing their mental health needs. Kristen has collaborated with several local agencies, including but not limited to: Office of Children and Youth (OCY), Stairways Behavioral Health, Safe harbor Behavioral Health and many psychiatrists and private physicians in the Erie area.  

 

Kristen has spent the past 10 years prior to coming to Northshore Psychological at Catholic Charities Counseling and Adoption services in Erie, PA where she served as an outpatient mental health therapist.

 

Kristen has worked with a broad range of individuals with a variety of needs and she specializes in working with those suffering from depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, stress management, trauma and people with chronic illnesses, such as Type 1 Diabetes. She also has extensive experience doing marriage counseling and couples counseling.
