Walter Schamber
Certified School Psychologist, Psychology Resident
Biography:
Dr. Walter Schamber received his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in School Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology from the University of Northern Colorado in 2008. He completed an American Psychological Association (APA) approved doctoral internship at Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center Residential Treatment Program in 2005. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign in 1996.
Dr. Schamber’s areas of interest are neuropsychological assessment, executive functions, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), biological impacts of emotional trauma, cognition and learning, Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and childhood disorders. Dr. Schamber has presented at many state, national and international conferences; an abbreviated list is below. He is a member of APA, APA Society for Clinical Neuropsychology Division 40 and APA School Psychology Division 16.
